As per the bylaws of the Lower Columbia Region Harbor Safety Committee (accepted January 9, 2019): a variable-range size board of directors shall be established. The minimum number of directors will be eleven (11) and the maximum number of directors will be twenty-three (23). Federal representatives of the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy, and National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration shall serve as ex officio members of the board of directors, to the extent they consent to participate, Federal representatives shall not have the right to vote and are not counted in quorum size. The term of each director will be two years.
